The Northern Virginia Delta Educational and Community Service (NVDECS) Foundation was created and established by a 501(c)7 social organization with a charge to serve the Northern Virginia community and thus a need for a 501(c)3 charitable organization to develop resources to meet that goal.
Since its founding in the mid-1990s, NVDECS has grown and evolved to become an independent organization, equipped to serve as fiscal agent for 501(c)7 organizations and other community organizations actively serving our community, and a foundation impacting the Northern Virginia community in our own right through academic scholarships, grant programs and direct services to our community partners.
